SOCHIVE was founded in 1970 as a direct result from the company “Adriano Martignoni” which had been working in the market of leather chemical supplier since 1957. In the initial years, SOCHIVE operated in the commercial sector, marketing products for the leather field. The great turning point took place at the beginning of the eighties with the opening of research laboratories and production divisions for wet end and finishing chemicals. At that time SOCHIVE also became the sole agent for Italy of A. Smit & Zoon B.V. products. Since then, many steps have been made with the acquisition of new brains and machinery for research, quality control and production. At the same time synergies have been developed between SOCHIVE and the leather field that have provided a stimulus for the development of new technologies. In the 3rd millennium SOCHIVE presents itself as a fully qualified partner for the leather industry. |
